Today I was presented with a Senior Colts Premiership Shirt of my own as I am a sponsor for it. I am beyond proud of what this group of young men have accomplished and will continue to support. 💙❤🤍

During today's event I was privileged to hear a very passionate and heartfelt speech from a past player, and I wanted to share it as I believe it can work for everything not just footy.

What is a Premiership?

Oh it is so much more than being the best.

It is the Club - Past, Present and Emerging. Respect, loyalty and the mission.

It is Community - our spectators, volunteers, local businesses and sponsors

And it is Ourselves - Striving to set goals and putting in the hardwork because no one became great by sitting idle.

If we do not include all of these and only do it for ourselves, we will fail

Thanks Tony, I hope you don't mind me using this as my business mission statement 😉 and especially for life.

Friday 💛 What a day! Starting at 6.30 I picked

Friday 💛

What a day! Starting at 6.30 I picked up my friend Susanne and we joined about 30 other brave (or silly) souls and @cold_nips_australiantour at Wallaroo Beach for a swim to raise money for mental health. If you see them somewhere in Australia (currently in the NT I believe) jump in for a swim! You won't regret it promise 💛

Then back to the Farm Shed for kernewek stuff. So grateful to be a part of such an amazing event! Excited is an understatement lol

And then I drove out to Ardrossan to see the beautiful @thatgardengirlsasha who gifted me some of her sourdough starter. Thankyou Sasha! 💛🙌

Then on the way home I called past the #octoberfeast markets at the @moontagardenlandscapesupplies. This event just keeps getting better and better every year. We'll done to organisers on a brilliant job 👏

Plus I get to drink gin and hangout with beautiful friends 💛

What a beautiful day it was for the Minlaton Show, Sophie got a showbag and slushie and I got some @lost_tide_spirit_co liqeuer. Everyone wins 😉💛

Also got to cook in front of some very beautiful people who made me feel very welcomed and loved 💛

Not to mention working alongside other amazing women 💛

Then I came home, cleaned my kitchen bench and hung out with my #thesocialclub crew on a zoom cookup. Tonight's recipe was Szechuan Steak and Singapore Noodles. Delicious and exactly what I needed. I may have been asleep by 8pm here too lol 💛

Monday 💛

I know I've mentioned this in stories this week however I just have a to go over just how important food is to connection.

To me growing your own food is something people do with great energy, pride and love.

Before we move any further I want to make 1 thing absolutely clear...... I am not one of these people. I'm sure I could be, but I'm not.

And that's ok.

Because I love people who are.

One these people is Michael. I very much admire the way he is with gardening and appreciate what he harvests and brings to my kitchen bench. He is very good at what he does ❤

I have wonderful family members who love to garden and are also very good at it. When I visit my mum I love sitting under her back verandah and looking at the bunches of onions hanging from the roof, drying out. It's very, homely.

Since moving to Yorkes I have become friends with some very special people. And once again find myself in awe at their connection to the earth. They are very proud of their produce, and so they should be! It is the result of hard work and love. I am also very grateful when they share this with me. It's a true gift when it's the creation of such love.

This day I visited numerous beautiful friends and family and received these meaningful gifts of love.

I'm so lucky.
